Windows 2000 Internet Connection Wizard
Point at the "My Network Places" icon on the desktop and click on it
with the right hand mouse button. From the drop down menu select Properties.
In the Network Dial Up Properties window double click on "Make New
Connection".
When the Connection Wizard program opens, click Next.
Choose "Dial up to the Internet" then click Next.
Choose "I want to set up my internet connection manually" then click Next
Choose "I connect through a phone line and Modem" then click Next.
Remove the check mark for "Use Area code and dialing rules" then type in
Redbird's Dial in phone number 419-947-6707 into the phone number field and click Next.
Type in your username and password then click Next.
Type in Redbird for the connection name then click Next.
Select Yes to set up your email account then click Next.
Type in your name then click Next.
Type in your email address then click Next.
Select POP3 as the type of mail server. Type in mail.redbird.net for both the
incoming and outgoing mail server names then click Next.
Type in your username and password then click Next.
Click Finish to complete the wizard. |
